Crossmaglen library is in the middle of the square, so parking is ample, but it is not easily accessed for walkers or out-of-towners. The facilities are good, the staff is helpful, but they haven't they facilities of bigger libraries.

This was my first time visiting Armagh library and I was impressed with the helpfulness of the staff and the ease of use. I would recommend this library to anyone.

Slieve Gullion Centre

I visited the Slieve Gullion forest park last Thursday (24/02/2011). I was impressed with the level of helpfulness from the staff at the community centre. Even though there was a training course taking place that day, they were more than willing to accommodate me and my questions.

They provided me with the name of a local resident who is considered something of a history buff on the legends of the mountain. I visited his house but unfortunately he was not home at the time. I plan to visit him again in the near future.
